OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2012. Rossiya Airlines OJSC summarized operational performance for 12 months 2011. The Company’s own fleet transported 3 537 459 passengers that is 15.1% higher than the 2010 figures. As much as 1 746 734 passengers were carried in domestic lines, while 1 790 725 passengers in international flights.

As per the year totals, Rossiya Airlines performed 39 102 flights (+20.9%), of which 23 881 across Russia and 15 221 along international routes.

Passenger traffic during the reported period amounted to 7 190.91 million passenger kilometers that is 15.2% higher than that in 2010.

High operational performance figures 2011 were achieved in many ways due to sound timetable modifications, including an increased flight frequency in many Russian and international lines, and a growing aircraft operation intensity.
