OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2012. Juergen Grieb has been appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Rosbank. At this position he will be in charge of Capital markets & Investment Banking. The aim is to build a Capital Market and IB platform offering full range of products to Rosbank's corporate and institutional client base.

The focus is on Fixed income, FX and derivatives and commodities with a strong sales team providing alongside trading activities hedging advice on clients' exposure to market risks and professional execution of transactions in the market. On the funding side the platform provides access to the capital markets in form of bond issues for corporates, municipalities and financial institutions. In the loan market, CMIB has developed a strong position in the syndicated loan market in Russia, and its team of structuring experts provides tailor-made financing solutions for our clients' projects and investments.

Juergen Grieb was born in 1952. He graduated from Paris University Sorbonne with a degree in Economics.

In 1993 Mr. Grieb joined SG Group in Frankfurt as Head of Capital Markets.

Prior to SGCIB he held a variety of different trading and management positions in banks based in Paris. From 1997 to 2004 Juergen Grieb occupied the position of SGCIB’s Head of FX & Derivatives Sales Western Europe in London.   In 2004 Juergen Grieb took over the position of Executive Director /Head of Investment Banking at Komercni banka in Prague (Czech Republic).  In 2010 he was appointed as Head of Capital Markets & Investment Banking of Rosbank.
