OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2012. The volume of gas supplied in Moldova in 2011 made up 1 bln. 152,1 mln. cubic meters, 3% down as compared with 2010. This 2,3% more than the volume of the gas supplied in Moldova in 2009 (with findings of Transdniestria being left aside), as Moldovagaz informs.

In 2011 the number of gas consumers increased by 2,5 to 630 434 consumers. Loss of gas in the distribution gas grid reduced by 6,12%.

The gas grids length increased by 4,27 to 21 884,9 km. Moldovagaz is the part of the energy supply complex of Moldova providing reliable and systematic supply of natural gas to consumers of Moldova and guarantying the safety of gas pipelines and equipments exploitation.
