OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2012. The Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia in the Republic of Dagestan (Dagestan OFAS Russia) fined “LUKOIL-Rostovenergo” Ltd. 862,500 Rubles for un lawfully cutting off heat energy, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Earlier Dagestan OFAS Russia found that “LUKOIL-Rostovenergo” Ltd. violated Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” in the part of terminating supply of heat energy to “Dagdiesel” Plant” OJSC and the Border Control Department of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, and issued a determination to renew heat supply.

“Such actions of economic entities that abused their dominant market position are unacceptable and must be suppressed by the antimonopoly body. Timely issuing of the determination to “LUKOIL-Rostovenergo” Ltd. by Dagestan OFAS Russia allowed renewing heat energy supply to strategic military facilities in Kaspiisk and preventing disruption of defence state procurement”, pointed out the Head of Dagestan OFAS Russia, Mr. Kurban Kubasaev.
