Ukraine Rural Community to Receive Economic Benefits
OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2012. Rural development is a priority of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. The bill "On Land Market" provides deduction of one percent of funds from land rents for the development of rural communities to maintain and ensure the development of the Ukrainian village. This was stressed by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk at a meeting on rural development and agricultural state, which took place in Volyn region.
"I am pleased that these initiatives of heads of RSA are supported by village heads and they coincide with the program of the Ministry and with the reforms initiated by the President of Ukraine and the Committee on Economic Reforms. The President clearly said the most important - within the agrarian reform is not to forget the Ukrainian countryside. And I am pleased that the village heads of Volyn region understands this, they supports and are ready to be active participants in the revival of the Ukrainian village" - Mykola Prysyazhnyuk stated.
According to the Minister, the rural development is the foundation of economic development of the agricultural sector and country as a whole.
"We're talking, and the Prime Minister supports us that to a fixed tax remains on the balance of rural communities. And we'll defend it"- Mykola Prysyazhnyuk emphasized.
