Air Moldova airline announce about implementation of payments with VISA and MasterCard for Arial transportations by purchasing tickets from BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) IATA authorized agencies and from ARC (Airline Reporting Corporation) accredited agencies starting, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.

This implementation allows diversifying payment possibility for air tickets on direct and connecting flights of Air Moldova on the IATA accredited agencies network. Before there were the possibility to pay with only DINERS CLUB and AMERICAN EXPRESS.

In present, "Air Moldova" is a member of BSPs of 14th countries – Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Cyprus and Austria. In 2009 "Air Moldova" joined ARC (Airline Reporting Corporation), this allows all "Air Moldova" customers to purchase tickets for "Air Moldova" direct and connecting flights all over the territory of USA, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa.

BSP is a system designed to facilitate and simplify the selling, reporting and remitting procedures of IATA Accredited Passenger Sales Agents, as well as improve financial control and cash flow for BSP Airlines. The main feature of BSP system is using a single standard ticket (Standard Traffic Document), instead of individual tickets for each company. ARC – same system that apply only for territory of USA, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa.

"Air Moldova" operates flights to 20 destinations – Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Antalya, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaka, Rome, Milan, Verona, Paris, Varna, Moscow, Sankt-Petersburg, Sochi, Surgut and Kiev.

On December 29, 2011 "Air Moldova", a national airline of Moldova, was awarded with a Diploma of the Inter-governmental Aviation Committee (IAC) “For achievement in aviation security field”.
