OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2012. AutoKrAZ produced 1071 vehicles and assembly sets in 2011. Increase in production is 107 % as compared to 2010. Production of spare parts, in particular various products delivered by way of cooperation, has ramped up too, AutoKrAZ mastered production of grinding balls for mining industry and manufactured 1,6 thousand tons, cost of which exceeds UAH 12 mn. Cost of produced and sold spare parts and products amounts to UAH 91,4 mn, showing an increase by 7,5% as compared to 2010, reported the press-centre of AutoKrAZ.

In 2011 AutoKrAZ sold 1263 vehicles, this is 1,2 times more than within the same period in preceding year. 71% percent of total number was delivered to CIS countries market, 20 % - to and 9 % - to local and foreign markets respectively. Most vehicles (740 units (82 %)) were delivered to Russian Federation. Growth in deliveries to RF is 60 percent as compared to 2010. More than half of vehicles sold in Russia were chassis cabs, a quarter – dump trucks, the rest – logging trucks and truck tractors.

39 units were supplied to Kazakhstan (this is three times more than in 2010), 34 units to Azerbaijan, 26 units to Uzbekistan, 15 units to Turkmenistan.

AutoKrAZ was very successful in 2011 in coming into the markets of Philippines and Rwanda, where KrAZ trucks have never been delivered, and in resuming deliveries to Macedonia and Thailand after a long pause.

Throughout 2011, AutoKrAZ continued work on line up extension and quality improvement of serial trucks. Thus, the year was marked by development of new cabover trucks for public service: the KrAZ К12.2 (4х2) street sweeper, the КрАЗ К16.2 (6х4) refuse trucks, the pilot models passed tests and operate in Kremenchug, the KrAZ К12.2 (4х2) which has been used in Kiev; an new fire fighting truck KrAZ H23.2 (АЦ-13-70) (6х4) built against mining company order; the KrAZ С20.2R (6х4) with Renault Kerax cab provided with snow removal and de-icing equipment. Cabs from Renault and MAN have been adapted to KrAZ chassis.

New conventional trucks with plastic bonnet such as KrAZ С 18.1 (6х4) and KrAZ В18.1ЕХ (6х6).chassis cab have been built.

The KrAZ Н30.1Е (8х6) special heavy chassis cab and the KrAZ-71334 (8х4) four-axle chassis cab have entered mass production.

Another important achievement of the year was State Prize of Ukraine in the domain of science and technology awarded to AutoKrAZ engineers for special KrAZ truck design conception and development.

AutoKrAZ plans to sell around 2500-3000 units in 2012.
