OREANDA-NEWS.  January 24, 2012. In 2011 Azerbaijan’s national postal operator received 5.560.500 simple domestic and registered letters.

Communication and Information Technologies Ministry reports that the volume of received mail turned out to be by 4.2% more than in 2010.

For the reported period volume of international simple written mail made 302.739 units and parcel posts – 41.070 units which is by 2.5% more against 2010.

Last year the number of international small packages made 12.053 units, domestic mails- 114.095 units , international parcels- 8.637 units which is by 5.4% more than in 2010.
