Bilateral Trade between Russia, Moldova Up 26,3%
OREANDA-NEWS. January 24, 2012. Bilateral trade between Russian and Moldova made USD 1 bln. 475,8 mln. in January-October, 2011, 26,3% up as compared with the same period in 2010. According to findings of the Federal Customs Serves of RF within 10 months of 2011 as compared with the same period in 2010, Russia’s exports grew by 31,9% to USD 1 bln. 120,5 mln., with Moldova’s deliveries to Russia increasing by 11,3% to USD 355,3 mln.
The basis of the Moldova’s export to Russia is such agricultural products as wines, cognacs, tinned fruit and vegetables, juices. Moldova also exports to Russia textiles, machines, equipments and metal ware.
The biggest portion of Russian export to Moldova is presented by various kinds of energy. In additio0n, Russian exports to Moldova provisions, beverages and tobacco, machines, devices, electrical equipment, chemical production.
