OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2012. Gorlovsky Mashinostroitel heavy engineering plant operating under umbrella of Mining Machines has passed re-certification ISO 9001:2008 audit. The plant confirmed efficiency of its quality management system and commitment of every employee to making quality products that fully meet customer requirements. The audit was organized by Russian Register certification association in December 2011.

Yuriy Zagorulko, Director for Quality Management System Development underlined that the management system at Gorlovsky Mashinostroitel complies with ISO 9001:2008 in design, production and servicing of mining equipment. He said this helped to keep the products competitive in the international market and improve trust of customers.

In turn Konstantin Kryukov, CEO of Gorlovsky Mashinostroitel said the plant was honoured to have confirmed compliance with the international standard: "Mining Machines follows a consistent policy in management and control of the quality of produced equipment. The successful re-certification audit is another proof that the steps taken in this area are right," Mr Kryukov stated.
