Russia to Host International Transport Forum ‘YugTrans-2012’
OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2012. VIII International Transport Forum "YugTrans-2012" will be held on 22-23 March 2012 in Russia’s southern city of Gelendzhik, the organizing committee said.
The event is supported by the Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport of Russia.
The Forum will focus on key issues of transport industry of the Azov-Black Sea and Caspian Sea basins in the post-crisis period, taking into account the political component and the investment climate in the region.
The forum will gather in the Black Sea city the leading specialists of the transport industry. Representatives of government and financial institutions, heads of major companies of the industry will attend the forum.
Larisa Korshunova, Deputy Chief of Federal Customs Service customs clearance and customs control department will address the meeting to present key aspects of the customs clearance of seaborne and containerized cargoes.
Vitaliy Maksimov, an adviser to the General Director of the Federal Institution Rostransmodernizatsiya will also speak at the forum about the projects implemented in southern ports, particularly of Taman, Novorossiysk and Rostov.
