OREANDA-NEWS. January 23, 2012. Dmitry N. Patrushev Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg) took part in the meeting of the Commission for Agribusiness Development of the Government of the Russian Federation held by First Deputy Prime Minister Victor A. Zubkov, reported the press-centre of RusAg.      

The Commission met to discuss results of the winter sowing campaign, upcoming spring field works, as well as sufficiency of seeds, fertilizers, fuel and financial resources in the industry.

During the meeting, First Deputy Prime Minister Victor A. Zubkov made a positive assessment of RusAg`s capacity to provide lending for 2012 seasonal field works. First Deputy Prime Minister noted that the Bank made sufficient reserves to secure financing of the spring field works, taking into consideration the hard work in 2011, which was aimed to create a solid base for future yields, alongside with current favorable conditions for the sowing campaign. So far, Russian Agricultural Bank has already extended RUB 20 billion for this purpose.
