Construction of Chemical Water Treatment of Kazan CHP-2 Completed
OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2012. In the end of December 2011 was completed reconstruction of chemical water treatment of Kazan CHP-2 with shifting to the new membranous technologies. Adoption of membranous technologies is mostly determined by seeking of the company using low-waste technologies for improving environmental security.
Putting into operation new technologies allows reaching following results:
Primecost of demineralized water will be decreased in 1.22 times, of desalted water – in 1.67 times.
Consumption of sulfuric acid will be decreased in almost 2.5 times (from 318 tonnes to 141 tonnes), of caustic soda (alkali) in almost 9 times (from 170 tonnes to 19 tonnes) excludes such chemical reagents as burnt lime, consumption of which constitutes 450 tonnes and ferric sulfate of required 160 tonnes;
Completion of reconstruction will also allow taking out of operation and dismantle outdated equipment, buildings, installations and communications, the whole technological process and production and administration will settle in one complex.
The project was realized in 2010-2011. Design capacity constitutes 300 cubic meters per hour on desalted water and 300 cubic meters per hour on makeup water of heating system according to the scheme: microfiltration, reserve osmosis and counter flow H-OH ionization.
It should be noted that this project is included in the list of the largest installations, implemented to the present time in Russia, among production installations based on membranous technologies.
