OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2012. Capt. Wei Jiafu, Chairman of COSCO Group met with a senior delegation of Citigroup headed by Mr. Calors Gutierrez, former Secretary of Commerce of U.S.A, and current Vice Chairman of Institutional Clients Group of Citigroup in Ocean Plaza, Beijing, reported the press-centre of COSCO.

Capt. Wei recalled the pleasant meeting with Mr. Gutierrez at the Second Annual U.S.-China CEO and Former Senior Official's Dialogue in Washington D.C. last November. And both parties thoroughly exchanged views on future collaboration between COSCO and Citigroup, as well as on world economy and shipping industry.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. FarhanFaruqui, Citigroup’s Head of Global Banking in Asia Pacific, Mr. Li Yunpeng, Executive Vice President of COSCO Group, and senior representatives from both Citibank (China) Co., Ltd and divisions of COSCO Group.
