OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2012. TNK-BP announces that Buguruslanneft (part of Orenburgneft, a 100% subsidiary of TNK-BP) is planning to drill and commission two wells at the Novo-Mikhailovskoe field and three wells at the Krasnoyarskoe field this year.

Last year, Buguruslanneft resumed drilling operations at the Novo-Mikhailovskoe field in the Buguruslan district of Orenburg region and they have already put one new well into operation in January 2012. The field produces 40 tonnes of oil per day and will generate incremental production of 16,300 tonnes for 2012 as a whole.

According to preliminary data, the new wells will boost output from the two fields by 20% in 2012 compared to last year, to reach 261,000 tonnes at Krasnoyarskoe and 67,000 tonnes at Novo-Mikhailovskoe.
