OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2012. Sviaz-Bank’s branch in Yakutsk has been named winning bidder in a public online auction for a contract to give a loan to Sakhatransneftegaz OJSC. The borrower will use the 400 million rubles loan for a year, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

Sakhatransneftegaz OJSC pipes natural gas in trunk pipelines from source to destination, delivers it to consumers, and processes natural gas and gas condensate.

“Sakhatransneftegaz has been our partner for years. Sviaz-Bank has provided it with funds many times to keep its projects going. Last year, Sviaz-Bank acted as managing underwriter for the bond issue the company offered to raise 2.5 billion rubles.

The company used the funds raised to cover the costs of developing the Otradninskoye gas field. Besides, Sviaz-Bank opened three credit lines totaling 800 million rubles to the company last year. I hope our continued cooperation with Sakhatransneftegaz OJSC will be just as rewarding as it has been until now,” said Sergei Volokhov, Vice Chairman of Sviaz-Bank’s Management Board.
