TENEX Confirmed Compliance of Its QMS with ISO 9001
OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2012. The certification authority TUV Thuringen e.V. (Germany) has confirmed compliance of the JSC “Techsnabexport” (TENEX) quality management system with the international standard ISO 9001:2008 based on the results of recertification audit completed early in December 2011.

Obtaining a new certificate is the evidence of the successful fulfillment of strategic tasks of the Russian nuclear exporter’s leadership on the world nuclear fuel market and implementing the management principles in compliance with the international regulations.
TENEX traditionally pays great attention to quality management: the indicators were developed for all principle processes of the Company’s activities that allow to evaluate the efficiency of the Company’s overall performance and extent of achieving the outlined targets. One of the key indicators of quality is the customers’ satisfaction degree. This indicator relevance is continuously growing and reached 97.5 per cent based on the results of 2010 performance. To evaluate the customers’ satisfaction degree with the Company’s 2011 results, questionnaires will be sent to TENEX contractors in January – February 2012.
TENEX quality management system is integrated with the environmental management system to meet the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001:2009, and in the second quarter of 2012 TENEX will for the first time in nuclear industry get prepared for certification of the supply chain safety management system’s compliance with a new international standard ISO 28000 that stipulates introducing advanced approaches for ensuring efficient control and management of safety aspects at all stages of the life cycle of export deliveries of uranium products and services provided by the Russian nuclear industry.
