OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2012. Startup of refurbished unit for deep processing of hydrocarbon feedstock took place today on one of the largest petrochemical production facilities of Omsk region - public company “Omsky Kauchuk” (enterprise of “Group of Companies “Titan”), reported the press-centre of Titan.

The unit was refurbished within the framework of the program of expansion of scheme of processing of normal butylenes. The unit will produce high-octane components for motor gasolines. Thanks to the high octane rating (up to 96) they can be used in production of grades Ai-92 and Ai-95. Planned output for 2012 exceeds 45 thousand tonnes.

Before ceremonial startup of the unit a working meeting took place in the Government of Omsk region between the Governor of Omsk region Leonid Polezhayev, President of Non-Commercial Partnership “Center of Innovations” Mikhail Sutyaginsky and Director of Department of Development of the Regions of Vneshekonombank Ilgiz Valitov. In the course of the working meeting the parties discussed questions of interaction of branches of State Authority of Omsk region and Vneshekonombank concerning realization of the new economic platform of Omsk region, the basis of which is project “PARK: Industrial-Agricultural Regional Clusters” (the author and the head of the project – Mikhail Sutyaginsky).

After the results of the meeting its participants shared their comments with the press. The Governor noticed that without understanding and support from Vneshekonombank it would be impossible to develop objects of Omsk petrochemistry: “I would say, it’s a good luck – arrival of such a serious partner to our site”. Ilgiz Valitov expressed his satisfaction from development of relations with Omsk region: “We think, that all the projects on the territory of the region have positive dynamics, and we hope that new jobs, rise in salaries and creation of modern and highly profitable products on the territory of Omsk region which are in high demand from the market, will allow also to fill the budget, and also to find us in new sectors, including social sphere for resolving of the problem of housing and communal economy, infrastructure, kindergartens”. Mikhail Sutyaginsky, in turn, spoke on the nearest prospects within the framework of PARK realization, in particular, about today’s startup of renewed unit: “Today we are starting production unit of high-octane components for motor fuels. All commissioning works on this object are finished, all tests were passed successfully, the product will be of high quality”.

After the meeting First Deputy Chairman of the Government Valery Boiko and the representative of VEB visited PARK objects: provender mill, polypropylene plant, production site of public company “Omsky Kauchuk”. In the course of the visit the guests of the site were able to participate in ceremonial startup of hydrocarbon feedstock deep processing unit on the site of public company “Omsky Kauchuk”. After that participants of the meeting discussed projects under realization in Resource Center of “Group of Companies “Titan” (22, Gubkina prospect), where presentation of Industrial Park of Polymers took place.
