OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2012. Modernization of equipment and implementation of new production schemes allowed to increase output of major commercial product on the plant “Omsky Kauchuk” by 16% in comparison with the last year, and the growth occurs along the whole stock of products, reported the press-centre of Titan.

The enterprise produced 20% more rubbers than in 2010, phenol and acetone - 14% and 15%, respectively. Moreover, “Omsky Kauchuk” produced record amount of phenol for the whole history of the enterprise –  more than 60 thousand tonnes. Volume of produced MTBE amounted to more than 200 thousand tones (in December the enterprise produced 2-nd million tonne of this product), and this index is also higher than index of 2010 by 18%. Besides the enterprise increased production of liquefied hydrocarbons by 9%. Industrial progress allowed to increase income by 60% on last year.

Growth of production indices became possible also owing to the increase in supplies of major chemical feedstock by 10-20%. In 2011 one produced by 50 thousand tonnes of cargoes more than year before; in transportation of the feedstock and the products more than 850 railcars were engaged (both proprietary and leased). Among the partners participating in the transportation of cargoes of the ready products – company limited “Transoil”, one of the largest Russian carriers. Its share of cargoes shipped from public company “Omsky Kauchuk” is 15-20%.

Not only the volumes of goods are increasing: the number of employees of enterprises of “Group of Companies “Titan” increased by 7%, their salary increased by 20% (it exceeds the average regional index). Fund of labor remuneration with assignments in 2011 exceeded 1 billion 700 thousand Roubles, in the next year it will exceed 2 billion.

In 2012 it is planned to significantly increase the output and to launch new sectors – also in petrochemistry. Thus, Omsk Polypropylene Plant has to produce more than 100 thousand tonnes of commercial goods. In the nearest future the unit of processing of normal butylenes will start working. Commissioning of the renewed unit will allow to expand stock of high-octane components for motor fuel.
