OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2012. Vladimir Chernikov became the head of the corporate department of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, having occupied the position of the Director of Company’s Corporate Business.

He was born in 1969 in Kiev. In 1991 he graduated from the Military Institute of the USSR Ministry of Defense, Department of Oriental Languages. Underwent training in foreign insurance companies, such as AXA, IF, POHJOLA, Tapiola, Achmea, Interpolis and a study course at the Academy of Insurance in Austria. In 2009 he graduated from Ashridge Business School (UK), field Insurance and Management, as well as from the Academy of National Economy under the RF Government, field Finance and Credit.

In 1993-1998 V. Chernikov was employed in ROSSIYA Insurance Company as a chief specialist of Motor Insurance Department and finally obtained a position of the Deputy Head of Ground Transportation Insurance Department. In 1998 – 2006 he held a position of the First Deputy General Director of Renaissance Insurance Group LLC. Prior to joining Ingosstrakh Insurance Company he was employed as the First Deputy General Director of ORANTA Insurance (IC ORANTA Ltd.) (part of Eureko (Netherlands)).

In Ingosstrakh Insurance Company Vladimir Chernikov will be in charge of cooperation issues with the company's corporate clients.

Commenting on his appointment, Vladimir Chernikov said that Ingosstrakh Insurance Company is traditionally giving particular consideration to the development of corporate types of insurance. Interesting and ambitious goals, including corporate business development in the regions, expanding the company's presence in the market of entities insurance, winning a share in the segment of compulsory insurance of civil liability of hazardous facilities owners (HF), are scheduled for 2012. In this regard, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company is opened for qualified specialists in the field of corporate insurance. In his new position, Mr. Chernikov is going to focus primarily on the development of sales in key sectors of corporate insurance: fire insurance, non-commercial insurance, HF insurance, agricultural insurance, marine, aviation, space insurance, cargo insurance, transport operators insurance, financial institutions insurance, responsibility insurance, etc.
