OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2012. The Management of “Uzbekneftegaz” National Holding Company received a delegation of “Petrovietnam” Company (Vietnam) headed by Mr.Phung Dinh Thuc, the chairman of the Board of Directors, the “UzDaily.com” news website reported with the reference to press service of “Uzbekneftegaz”.

During the talks the parties exchanged of views concerned joint operations in Uzbek territory.

In particular, it was noted that within the framework of project “On conducting of exploration works at Kossor investment block of Ustyurt region of the Republic of Uzbekistan” the operator carried out seismic works, data processing and interpretation on the outcomes of which a number of potential structures evaluated.

The participants of talks agreed to necessity of acceleration of further works stages, that to start prospect drilling within next few months.

The parties are also considered joint exploration of Paleozoic deposits to discover new structures.
