VTB Builds Unified ATM Network
OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2012. VTB Bank cardholders in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and owners of VTB24 cards in Russia have received access to VTB Group’s unified international ATM network, which currently comprises over 6,000 ATMs, reported the press-centre of VTB.
Clients of each of the above-mentioned banks are now able to withdraw cash from VTB and VTB24 ATMs under the ‘home network’ terms, regardless of their current location.
“We are glad to offer our clients a simple and convenient service for access to their own and loan funds during holidays or business trips. The fees for withdrawing money from VTB Group ATM network will not differ from their ‘home’ fees. Or I would better say that the ‘home’ ATM network within VTB Group now means 7 countries and over 6,000 ATMs. Today, no other major Russian bank operating abroad offers similar services to its clients”, Dmitry Rudenko, First Deputy President – Chairman of VTB24 Management Board said.
The new service covers VISA and MasterCard debit and credit cards and is available to the clients of VTB 24 (CJSC), JSC VTB Bank (Azerbaijan), CJSC VTB Bank (Armenia), CJSC VTB Bank (Belarus), JSC VTB Bank (Georgia), Subsidiary JSC VTB Bank (Kazakhstan) and PJSC VTB Bank (Ukraine). ATMs of JSC TransCreditBank and JSC Bank of Moscow are currently not included into VTB Group unified ATM network in the CIS and Georgia and are only parts of the VTB24 self-service machine network.
Clients will be able to find the required ATM in the CIS and Georgia using the geolocation service developed by VTB Group’s processing subsidiary MultiCarta Ltd. The interactive map allows users to get information on the nearest ATMs of the unified network which have the required function.
