OREANDA-NEWS.  January 17, 2012.  In Zainsk SRPS is completed the recertification of compliance of power generating units No 4, 6, 11 with the requirements of the standard of JSC System Operator Central Dispatch Administration of the Unified Energy System of Russia (SC CDAUES) to increasing load range 100-200 MW.

Execution of the work on enhancement of adjusting range of load of the units is an important step in ensuring the reliability of the system in the Republic and in the Middle Volga. Ability of operating in the power mode of low removal of load reduces fuel consumption (without cutout of the part of generating facility in order to avoid further start-up looses) and increases adjusting range of power generating unit by 25%, that leads to the more efficient operation of generating facility with a lack of peak capacity. To the present moment 4 units are already recertified (units No2, 4, 6, 11) and was conducted checkout in the unit No 8. Besides, in 2011 in the unit No5 was implemented an automatic control system of a regulatory type. In the next two years this task will be implemented in all the units of ZSPRS.

We recall that study and realization of pilot project on taking generating units off into a mode of low removal of load were conducted in 2010 within the plan of research and development activities of JSC Generation Company.
