SOLLERS-Far East Nearly Doubles Its Vehicle Production in 2011

The beginning of 2011 marked the official production launch of yet another SsangYong NEW Actyon city crossover. So far, the plant has assembled more than 10 thousand vehicles of this model.
"By the end of 2011, SOLLERS-Far East plant demonstrated the growth of its key performance indicators as compared to the previous year. While in December 2010 the daily output of the plant was 80 cars, in the end of 2011, this indicator reached the level of 135 cars a day. However, we believe that in the current Russian market environment the priority should be given not just to increasing capacity but to maintaining effective and profitable operating activities of the automotive production", said Alexander Korneichuk, General Director of SOLLERS-Far East.

Since its opening in 2009, the plant was equipped with a modern manufacturing facility, which includes automotive assembly production and logistics terminal.Currently, the automotive plant is producing 4 models of the Korean brand SsangYong: Kyron, Rexton, Actyon Sports and New Actyon.
Today, the vehicles produced in the Russian Far East are available through 120 dealerships in 74 Russian cities, 10 of which are in the Russian Far East, including 6 that were officially opened in 2011.
