OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2012. As a result of 2011 year the State Tax Service of Ukraine revealed 129 illegal workers. All these people received salaries "in envelopes" and hadn’t formal employment relationship with employers.

Tax Servicemen noted that machinations with labor relations are still widespread phenomenon - violations were found at 94% inspected enterprises. The budget additionally has received about 344 million UAH of income tax for individuals.

In addition, employers who neglect labor rights of their employees were brought to responsibility. Only in the IV quarter of last year, according to materials of the tax militia were instituted 23 criminal cases of evasion of taxes and fees.

Another 34 cases were instituted by other law enforcement agencies on materials provided by the STS. Also 13 cases - for non-payment of wages, 16 - for gross violations of labor laws.
