OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2012. The aircraft fleet of the Ural Airlines comprises 22 airliners now. The ninth Airbus A321 was recently received at Koltsovo airport. Arrival of the new plane has become another step in the implementation of the Ural Airlines aircraft fleet upgrade program.

The new plane was purchased through operational leasing in Dublin, Ireland.  As with the previous А321 aircraft, it accommodates 220 economy class seats. The airline is planning to use it primarily for charter flights. As a part of the upgrade of the Ural Airlines’ fleet the company plans to purchase 4 more aircraft in 2012 and by 2015 the number of aircraft is scheduled to reach 30 Airbus airliners. The airline also plans to start operating long haul aircraft.
