Trade Balance Deficit of Moldova with EU up 19,9%
OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2012. In January-November, 2011 the trade balance deficit of Moldova with EU countries made up USD 1 bln. 055,2 mln., 19,9% up as compared with the same period in 2010.
In January-November, 2011 the share of exports into EU states grew from 47,4% to 49,3% of the total exports and made up USD 987,4 mln., and the share of imports shrank from 44,7% to 43,8%, being USD 2 bln.042,6 mln.
The biggest volume of export to EU fell to Romania and made USD 349,1 mln. It is followed by Italy - USD 187,2 mln., Germany - USD 104,5 mln., the great Britain - USD 91,9 mln., Poland - USD 76,5 mln., Turkey – USD 65,4, Bulgaria - USD 32,1 mln., Greece - USD 21,2 mln., Hungary – USD 20,8 mln., France - USD 19,3 mln.
The biggest volumes of import from EU also fell to Romania, being USD 520,4 mln. Then follow Germany - USD 361,3 mln., Turkey – USD 327,4, Italy - USD 316,1 mln., Poland - USD 120,4 mln., Hungary – USD 92,0 mln., Austria - USD 78,3 mln., France - USD 76,9 mln., Greece - USD 64,5 mln., Bulgaria - USD 59,2 mln., the Great Britain - USD 58,2 mln., etc.
