OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2012. Annual charity ski festival titled “Kyrgyzstan – mountain skiing and winter holidays destination 2012" will take place on January 21, 2012 at the Toguz Bulak ski resort. The festival aims to promote Kyrgyzstan as winter sport and tourism destination. Funds collected from the sale of festival tickets will be allocated to support needy children, reported the press-centre of IBC.
 
It is the third time the charity festival is held in Bishkek. Organizers are JICA Alumni Association, Toguz Bulak ski resort, Bishkek Business Club and Unique Technologies company. Partners are International Business Council, Kyrgyz Association of Tour Operators, Trekking Union, Extreme and Active Sector sportswear shops, Shoro company, Keldike jewelry company. Festival participants will have an opportunity to take part in non-professional ski racing. Ticket price is 1000 soms. The ticket allows using ropeway, instructors’ services, snacks and national beverages from the Shoro company free of charge and renting ski equipment at discount rates at the Extreme rental centers.
 
Tickets are available at International Business Council, Bishkek Business Club and JICA starting from January 12, and will be available at the Toguz Bulak ski resort on the festival’s day.
