OREANDA-NEWS. January 13, 2012. Based on results of the annual surveillance audit, the certification body has confirmed that the implemented quality management system of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company meets the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001–2008 as applied to insurance and reinsurance business.

The Company was granted the certificate in March 2011. It authenticates the high level of the quality management system employed by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company and applied to all key activity categories in the realm of insurance and reinsurance. The certificate is valid until March 2014. As stipulated by the state standards in the sphere of quality management, annual auditing is one of conditions of certification. Thus, in November 2011 the system certification body "Yediny Standart" (unitary standard) carried out the annual inspection checkup in Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, which confirmed validity of the certificate. It ought to be noted that apart from Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, an extremely small number of federal level insurance companies possess this certificate.

GOST R ISO 9001–2008 is the Russian counterpart of the International ISO 9001:2008 norm elaborated by the International Organization for Standardization. At the moment, quality management system certificate is one of the most independent proofs of maturity of our business and reliability. Holding thereof by the insurer is an official confirmation of the quality management system being implemented by the Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, which guarantees constant improvement of all activities of the Company and further enhancement of quality of the insurance services rendered.
