In 2011, Belaruskali and the seaport work under a long-term contract that pegs the volume of potash supplies to railway tariffs.
OJSC Belaruskali plans to see its foreign currency proceeds from fertilizer exports grow to USD 3 billion in comparison with USD 2.06 billion scooped in 2010.
Experts say the positive forecast has been prompted by the situation on the world potash fertilizer market.
It has been preliminary estimated that potash fertilizer export this year will climb to 7.7 million tonnes (6.8 million tonnes in 2010).
Belaruskali is one of the largest potash makers in the world, employing about 20,000 personnel. The company plans to increase its output to 9.65 million tonnes annually by 2015.
