OREANDA-NEWS.  January 12, 2012. The Fifth Meeting (“the Meeting”) of the 3rd Board of Directors of China COSCO Holdings Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) was held in Beijing and Hong Kong via video-teleconference, reported the press-centre of COSCO.

The Meeting was presided over by Capt. Wei Jiafu, Chairman of the Company, and attended by Mr. Ma Zehua, Vice-Chairman of the Company, and Company directors including Capt. Zhang Liang, Madam Sun Yueying, Dr. Sun Jiakang, Capt. Xu Minjie, along with independent directors including Mr. S.S. Teo, Madam Rita Fan Hsu Lai Tai, Mr. Kwong Che Keung, and Mr. Peter Guy Bowie.

The Meeting was also observed by Mr. Li Yunpeng, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, and other members of the Supervisory Committee including Mr. Luo Jiulian, Independent Supervisor of the Company Mr. Meng Yan, President of the Company Mr. Jiang Lijun, Executive Vice Presidents of the Company Mr. Xu Zunwu, Mr. Ye Weilong, Mr. Wang Xingru, CFO of the Company Mr. He Jiale, and Secretary of the Board Mr. Zhang Yongjian.

A total of 10 proposals including the adjustment of Board Directors and other business-related issues were discussed and unanimously approved by the Meeting.

The Fourth Session of the Third Supervisory Committee of the Company  was convened on the same day. The adjustment of Supervisory Committee members and the Work Plan of Supervisory Committee for 2012 were discussed and approved at the Meeting.
