OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2012. In 2011, KAMAZ’s subsidiary – JSC "Neftekamsk Automobile Plant" – invested 240 million rubles in its own development, which is by 20% more than it was planned in the budget.

One of the major projects was implemented in the area of bulk-oil equipment production. The tank frame assembling and welding line was equipped with systems automatically welding inside and outside circular seams. These systems are currently functioning in a normal mode welding seams of an accurate shape and perfect industrial design. The project was developed and implemented with the assistance of Germany’s leading companies Grimm Schweisstechnik, DEUMA, and CLOOS. The new automated line raises the quality of tank welding processes and enables to cardinally improve the welders’ labour conditions. All aerosols from the welding zone pass through special filter systems that reduce of harmful emissions into the environment by up to 95%.

Another major investment project was implemented in the area of dump trucks production. Two painter robots were started up and adjusted in the paint-and-varnish complex. The project was realized by the Automation and Robotics Center – an authorized integrator of FANUC Robotics, Japan, as well as the largest manufacturers of paint equipment Gudel, Switzerland, and Wagner, Germany.

In addition, NEFAZ began to install a unique sheet bending press made by EHT, Germany. The bending length is 10 meters with a press force of 1,000 tons. The press will be used in the manufacture of dumping equipment and oval cross-section semitrailers with a capacity of 30 tons. These vehicles are widely used for transportation of heavy loads.
