OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2012. The Ministry of Higher and Specialized Secondary Education of Uzbekistan presented the project of launch of the Electronic Education national network, implemented by the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information.

The joint project of the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information, national operator Uzbektelecom and the Ministry of Higher and Specialized Secondary Education has united all universities and their branches into a single corporate network.

In the year 2012, 84 more academic establishments and scientific institutions will be to the network, which allows holding teleconferences using multimedia rooms created in each institution.

The creation of this network plays an important role in improving the educational process and exchanging data by educational establishments. The network also is designed to organize videoconferences with foreign universities.

During the presentation, direct communication was established with all universities and other educational institutions of the country that are connected to the Electronic Education network.
