OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2012. About 200 companies of Moldova has already applied for participation in the National Show “Made in Moldova” to be held on January, 31-February, 4 at Moldexpo. This was announced by Marina Petrova, head of the Fairs and Shows Department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry within the framework of the meeting of the organizing group.

According to her, about 10 regions of the country are to be presented by collective stands of economic entities of the region. Along side with traditionally produced in Moldova foods, beverages, textile, furniture and consumer goods, the exposition exhibits as follows: industrial and technical production, equipment, investment projects and services for small and medium –sized businesses. Informative stands will be displayed by business representatives from Romania, Ukraine and Belarus.

The members of the organizing committee have noticed the interest of economic entities to the exhibition “Made in Moldova”, which has become more attractive thanks to many factors, including its eventful and multifarious business program. This year the exhibition is seeing the Fair of Jobs; the Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with international partners for the first time organizes Retail-Center, Exchange of Business Contacts, Business School, Club of Business meetings, which will replenish traditional round tables, workshops, goods and firms’ presentations, etc. The showstoppers of the exhibition will be awarded gold medals.

The largest in Moldova national multi-industrial exhibition “Made in Moldova” is the most prestigious annual event in the sphere of fair-show activity of our country which has been defining the vector of development for domestic producers for already 11 years. Within these years the exhibition has played an important role in the establishment and development of the real sector of Moldova’s economy.

Last year the exhibition was participated by over 340 economic entities from all regions of Moldova which presented all branches of its economy on a territory of about 2000 sq. m. The exhibition has been attended by international delegations from Romania. Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Germany, Turkey and other countries. The total number of visitors exceeded 40 thousand people.
