SOCAR Lowered Oil Products Export by 22%
OREANDA-NEWS. January 05, 2012. The Marketing & Economic Operations Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) decreased export of petroleum products by 8.7% in December versus November of 2011 when the figure reached 141,187 tons.
The SOCAR reports that price of motor petrol made up USD 904.01, aviation fuel USD 960.79, diesel fuel USD 910.84, and black oil USD 653.2 per ton in December 2011.
According to the SOCAR, overall export of Azeri oil products totaled 104,269 tons in December 2011 and 1.448 million tons for 2011 versus 1.846 million tons in 2010.
Azerbaijan’s overall export of oil products dropped by 21.6% in 2011.
In 2009 overall export of petroleum products made up 1.968 million tons versus 2.58 million tons over 2008.
In 2010 this export made up 93.8 % of the 2009 volume.
