OREANDA-NEWS. January 04, 2012. In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On State Budget of Ukraine for 2012" since January 1 of 2012 year, social standards have been increased.

Thus, since January 1, cost of living in the average per capita is 1,017 UAH.

Living wage for children to the age of 6 years from January 1, is 893 UAH against 816 UAH at the beginning of 2011; for children from 6 to 18 years - 1112 UAH against 977 UAH at the beginning of 2011; for able-bodied persons - 1073 UAH (beginning of 2011 - 941 UAH) for persons incapacitated - 822 UAH (beginning of 2011 - 750 UAH.).

Also increases the level of living wage for poor families.

From the beginning of 2012 year will be increased the size of maternity assistance, which during the year will continue to increase gradually. In general, it will increase in annual average of 17%. Beginning January 1, the size of assistance:

- for the first child - 26 790 UAH (to the end of the year - 28830 UAH)
- for the second child - 53 580 UAH (to the end of the year - 57,660 UAH)
- for the third and subsequent child – 107 160 UAH (to end of year - 115,320 UAH).

During the year, will be increased assistance for women during pregnancy and childbirth. Social assistance for single mothers of children also will be increased. On January 1, the maximum size of child allowances is:

- to 6 years - 446.5 UAH (to the end of year - 480.5 UAH)
- from 6 to 18 years - 556 UAH (to the end of year - 598.5 UAH)
- from 18 to 23 years which are studying, - 536.5 UAH (to the end of year - 567 USD).

Besides, in 2012 year the amount of assistance to children under Custody or care increases, so from January 2012, it is - 1786 UAH (up to 6 years) and 2224 USAH (from 6 to 18). To the end of the year the amount of assistance depending on the child's age rises to 1,922 UAH and to 2394 USD.

In the first quarter of 2012 it will be increased assistance to disabled from childhood and disabled children, particularly since the year help the disabled since childhood with a premium of care is:

group I (subgroup A) - 1483.5 UAH;
group I (subgroup B) - 1233 UAH;
second and third groups - 822 UAH.
