Russian Antimonopoly Service Dismisses Case against Uralkali
OREANDA-NEWS. January 3, 2012. Uralkali (LSE: URKA), one of the world’s largest potash producers, has been informed that on 22 December 2011 the Federal Antimonopoly Service ("FAS") of the Russian Federation dismissed the case against Uralkali for absence of infringement of the antimonopoly legislation.
In October 2011 the FAS of the
Uralkali supplies potash to the domestic market in compliance with the Regulations on non-discriminatory access to the purchase of potash developed by the FAS and the Company’s Marketing Policy approved by the FAS.

"We welcome the decision of the FAS that reaffirms that Uralkali supplies potash to the domestic market in full compliance with the current legislation. We are committed to further observing the antitrust legislation and acting according to the price formula agreed with the FAS. "
