OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2011. The MDM Bank Board of Directors has adopted a resolution to instate Yury Semenchouk, an MDM Bank Managing Director, onto the Management Board. His candidacy was approved by the Territorial Administration of the Bank of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region.

Yury was appointed Managing Director in August 2011. Prior to that, he held the post of Deputy Head of the Siberian Territorial Bank. Between February and July 2009, he worked in URSA Bank, as Regional Network Administration Manager from February to April 2009, and as Sales and Client Service Director of the Novosibirsk Directorate from May to July 2009. Between April 2005 and January 2009, Yury served as Deputy Director of Vneshtorgbank Branch No. 5543 in the city of Omsk (ZAO Guta-Bank until August 2008). From July 2001 until March 2005, he worked in ZAO CB Siberian Kupetchesky Bank, where he held various posts — from division head to head of department. Yury began his banking career in August 1994 at ZAO Karagandinsky Regional Bank (AB Asylbank until April 1996, CB Karagandaagropromstroybank until May 1995), where he progressed from an economist to Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.

Yury graduated from Karaganda State University with a major in finance and credit in 1994. Between 2001 and 2002 he completed a professional management upgrade program at the Omsk State University. In 2008-09 Yury completed an MBA course at the Synergy Institute for Economics and Finance in Moscow.
