OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2011. The gold output of Anhui is expected to hit 180 thousand tons, ranking 7th across China, learned by the reporter.

Anhui is rich in nonferrous metal and also a key gold producer in China. In 2007, the gold output of Anhui broke the mark of 100 thousand tons for the first time. By the end of last year, the gold output reached 162.4 thousand tons. It is introduced that the newly increased gold resources hit 300 thousand tons.

In the coming five years, the fixed asset investment will be up to 5 billion yuan and the gold output will hit 300 thousand tons by 2015, according to Anhui Provincial Administration of Gold.
