OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2011. Ceremonious presentation of awards to the winners and laureates of “Exemplary Energy Consumer – 2011” contest will take place at “Europe” business centre. Awards will be received by most conscientious energy consumers of the Krasnoyarsk Territory from among legal entity subscribers of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”.

“Exemplary Energy Consumer” contest has become a tradition for “Yenisei TGC” and its consumers. The energy company annually honours managers of industrial enterprises, organizations, housing and utility companies that timely and in full pay for heat and hot water and actively implement modern energy consumption accounting and control systems and energy saving technologies.

For the first time the contest was arranged in 2006. The reason for its establishment was the problem of receivables. The core aim of the contest is attraction of public attention to this problem and propagation of the practice of conscientious attitude to energy resources payment obligations.

Unfortunately, during the period of the contest history the debt problem, instead of losing relevance, further aggravated. In November 2011 the amount of thermal resources consumers’ indebtedness reached a record-breaking value of 3.5 bln RUB. For power industry workers consumers’ debts have become not just an impediment but a serious barrier preventing discharge of obligations related to fulfilment of production and repair programs in the presence cities.

In this connection “Exemplary Energy Consumer” contest arouses interest and close attention not only with the nominees but also with the Krasnoyarsk Territory business community, authorities and public associations. The heads of the cities where “Yenisei TGC” has been the core supplier of thermal resources (Krasnoyarsk, Nazarovo, Minusinsk and Kansk) will traditionally take part in the award presentation ceremony.

Following the results of work during 2011 30 enterprises and organizations were included in the Krasnoyarsk Territory best energy consumers’ list. The names of the winner and laureate organizations will be announced at the ceremony. Additionally, the consumers were nominated that earned the reputation of notorious defaulters in 2011.
