OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2011. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov stresses that the Government consistently followed a policy of saving public expenditures.  He said this, answering questions of users of the social network Facebook.

According to the Head of Government, in 2011 expenditures on maintenance of the state machinery have been reduced by more than one billion UAH.

"For the first time for 20 years we have accepted the order, by which there are severely reduced the cost of maintaining the officialdom. Of course, some officials are trying to circumvent restrictions, and sometimes in the media there are appearing messages about this. But first, this is doing not succeeded them, because the calculations are blocked by the Treasury, and secondly, all materials relating to the violation of government policy decisions are transferred to the prosecutor for appropriate response. We also immediately make staffing conclusions," Mykola Azarov emphasized.
