OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2011. Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company settled several big corporate and retail property loss events. The company paid out a total of UAH 83,500 to indemnify its customers for loss. The cause of all loss events was communications breach.

In the first case, the company indemnified the insured individual for the damage of interior finishing and furniture of the flat insured under the "Megapolis" insurance scheme. The indemnity amount totaled to UAH 37,800. Insurance coverage under the agreement included, among others, the risk related to damage by water from water supply, heating, sewer and similar systems.

Another loss event occurred in Kyiv, in an office insured with Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. As a result of pipe break, the interior finishing of the office got damaged. So did the office equipment. The voluntary corporate property insurance agreement provided for insurance coverage for the finishing, communications and office equipment. Indemnity amount paid out totaled to UAH 30 thousand.

The stock of a Kharkov store was damaged also as a result of a pipe break accident. Insurance coverage under the agreement included the risk related to damage by water from water supply, heating, sewer and similar systems. Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company paid out to the legal entity the indemnity of UAH 15,700.
