Changqing’s 2011 Crude Oil and Gas Output to Hit 40.6 mln Tons
OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2011. Changqing Oilfield, owned by PetroChina Co Ltd said yesterday that it expected its crude oil and gas output to reach 40.6 million metric tons this year.
Changqing Oilfield is ranked country's second largest oilfield after Daqing Oilfield.
In 2010, Changqing Oilfield produced 35 million metric tons of oil equivalent, of which 18.3 million metric tons are crude oil. The oil field's natural gas output was 21.1 billion cubic meters last year.
Changqing Oilfield, whose output has average growth by 5 million metric tons for four consecutive years, expected its output to increase to 50 million metric tons by 2013.
