OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2011. Business class regional lines electric train will set out on maiden trip from the station Brest-Centralnyj on the route Brest-Baranovichi at 12.43 on  November 19.  At the same time there will be opened the movement of electric trains from Baranovichi to Minsk. Regional lines electric train will start to carry passengers in a reverse direction from November 20.

ЭПр will run once a day from Minsk to Baranovichi and in a reverse direction and once a day – from Baranovichi to Brest and in a reverse direction. There will be provided two stopovers on the route Minsk-Baranovichi (Kojdanovo and Stolbcy), on the route Baranovichi-Brest – three stopovers (Ivacevichi, Bereza-Gorod, Zabinka).

The same EPr will operate currently on both railway routes of regional lines Minsk-Baranovichi-Minsk and Baranovichi-Brest-Baranovichi . This is not the straight direction from Minsk to Brest. Passengers will purchase travel documents for each route of regional lines separately.

Travel  from Minsk to Baranovichi will cost 9 70 rubles, from Baranovichi to Brest – 11 760 rubles. Travel documents will be realized  in railway ticket office  through automated system management “Express”.

The opening of regular movement of business class regional lines  electric trains is the next step in realization of new format passenger transportation, that has been started by Belarusian railway in 2010. Business class regional lines trains are designed for assurance of inter-republican passenger transportation between regional and oblast centers, regional centers, city Minsk and regional centers.
