OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2011. In accordance with the resolution of the Federal Financial Markets Service dated December 15, 2011, a compulsory civil liability insurance of hazardous facilities’ owners for infliction of injury in the result of accident on the hazardous object is now included in the license of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company to carry out insurance services.

13 years of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company experience in the field of civil liability insurance of companies, exploiting hazardous industrial facilities under the applicable law, as well as the membership in the National Union of Liability Insurers, constituted the grounds for the license issue.

Over this period, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has concluded more than 35 thousand policies for the liability insurance of companies, exploiting hazardous industrial facilities and hydraulic structures, thus having insured more than 150 thousand of such objects. Each year, dozens of applications are examined on occurrence of events bearing the signs of an insured event.

According to Vladimir Chernikov, Director of Corporate Business of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company, “Ingosstrakh Insurance Company is ready to issue policies on compulsory insurance of hazardous objects within the framework of the Federal Law 225-FZ, which comes into force on January 1, 2012. A special department has been established in the company’s structure to carry out compulsory insurance of HIF. This department activity allows providing quick and efficient services to the Company’s customers on this type of insurance, and assigning individual curator to each company,” said V. Chernikov.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company actively participated in the development of laws and regulations, prepared guides on calculation of the sum insured and insurance premiums, on proper completion of applications for compulsory insurance and initial data forms.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has arranged seminars for its customers in many regions, during which it highlighted the main provisions of the new law, conducted training on properly completing the required insurance documents. Standard forms for HIF insurance are already available in the Company.
