OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2011. Shafagat Takhautdinov, General Director of OAO TATNEFT, has been awarded "Gratitude of President of the Republic of Tatarstan".

A new award was instituted by an order of Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, in the framework of the republican contest "Manager of the Year." He personally conferred the first six new awards to the managers of companies that had made the greatest contribution to the economy of Tatarstan and the whole country.

The awarding ceremony of the contest winners and the best managers of the Republic, which was also attended by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, representatives of ministries and departments, heads and top managers of large industrial enterprises of Tatarstan, took place in the cultural and entertainment complex "Korston" (Kazan).

President of the Republic noted among the achievements the commissioning of a new refinery (Refineries and Petrochemical Plants Complex in Nizhnekamsk - OAO TANECO), which had already recycled two million tons of Tatarstan oil.
