OREANDA-NEWS. December 29, 2011. The last jaw crusher SchDP-15x21U has been shipped. The crusher will be used as the head machine at the new process line of the crushing and screening plant RUPP "Granit" (the Republic of Belarus". Earlier, two medium crushers KSD-2200Gr-DM and two fine crushers of new modification KMD-2200T7-D were shipped to this customer. All crushers are equipped with an automatic modular control system based on programmable controllers.

The contract for delivery of equipment for the new line of the crushing and screening plant, including five crushers, over forty conveyers, screening units and an aspiration system, was signed by "Uralmashplant" in October 2010. It was the first time that a turnkey contract for construction of a factory had been concluded providing for the delivery of a complete set of equipment for the process line.

The new process line of the crushing and screening plant shall yearly produce as much as 3 million cubic meters of crushed rock aggregate of improved shape for production of high-quality concrete and road carpet.

The head crusher (SchDP-15x21U) for the crushing and screening plant is the largest machine in the range of sizes produced by Uralmashzavod. It is equipped with an automatic remote opening control system, automatic grease system, information system. This crusher has a feature which makes it different from the machines being in operation and is of particular importance to RUPP "Granit", namely the strengthened main shaft with bearings having increased load capacity. This is a new development of design engineers of the crushing and grinding equipment department, incorporating the products of the world leader in production of antifriction bearings and seals, SKF company (with the head office in Sweden). This design solution makes it possible to increase the operating life of the main shaft due to a double increase of the load capacity of bearings and to facilitate their dismantling and replacement in the course of repairs.

Assembly of the equipment of the new process line at the crushing and screening plant is carried out under the supervision of specialists of the crushing and grinding equipment department.

The Republican unitary production enterprise "Granit" (Belarus) was commissioned in 1975. Now it is the largest enterprise in Europe engaged in production of ecologically pure granite and its processing into crushed aggregate and sand for construction works. At present the enterprise produces 7,6 mil. cubic meters of crushed aggregate annually.
