OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2011. National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia's only settlement depository servicing the full range of debt and equity securities of Russian issuers, reports that Deutsche Bank LLC, CJS VTB Specialized Depository, Troika Dialog Investment Company CJSC, ING Commercial Banking (legal name "ING BANK (EURASIA) ZAO"), ALFA-BANK, MDM Bank and Sberbank Specialized Depository LLC have joined the Declaration on Use of Settlement Depositories' Notifications in the Course of Conducting Operations with Securities. The Declaration was initiated by NSD, DCC and ING Commercial Banking which had developed amendments to the documents and regulations in order to upgrade the service.

The signed Declaration is aimed at changing the current procedure of confirmation of securities transfer from the settlement depository's account (NSD or DCC) to the accounts of other entities registered in the registers of inscribed securities. NSD and DCC agreed on the unified procedure of formation of a standard notification about conducted transaction in a register which should replace a paper notification used currently. Cancellation of paper notification will contribute to accelerating depository operations and enhancing reliability.

A company may join the Declaration by means of submitting a letter to confirm the intention.
