OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2011. A meeting on technical dialogue “Joint Studies on Implementation of the BASF/Wintershall Holding Associated Gas Utilization Technologies in the Regions of the Russian Federation” was held in OJSC Gazprom promgaz within the framework of scientific and technological cooperation between OJSC Gazprom and BASF/Wintershall Holding.

Alexey Zorya, Deputy Director General, Sergey Shurupov, Director of Research and Development Center “Regional Gas Processing and Gas Chemistry”, as well as specialists of this subdivision participated in the event. The BASF/Wintershall Holding delegation was represented by Dr. Kay Rehberg, Global Development Consultant; Lyudmila Schmidt, NTS Director; and others.

In the course of the business meeting Dr. Kay Rehberg made presentation on the Wintershall’s gas utilization plant in Libya, and Sergey Shurupov presented a report on utilization of associated gas in Russia.

The parties continue to work under the scientific and technological cooperation programme on the preparation of proposal for implementation of the BASF/Wintershall Holding technologies at the JSC Gazprom enterprises.
