OREANDA-NEWS. December 28, 2011. PJSC "Ukrsotsbank" was awarded a diploma for the informational and material support of the project 54th Venice Biennale, which closed on November 27, 2011. Ukrainian project "POST-VS-PROTO-RENESSANCE" was the most resonant among the 89 papers presented at the 54th Venice Biennale.

Press conference on the results of Ukrainian participation in the most significant international exhibition of contemporary art - the Venice Biennale was held in "Hyatt Regency Kiev" hotel on December 14. "Altar of nations" by Oksana Mas left on a tour across Ukraine. Meeting of the project's author Oksana Mas and curator of the national project, Alexey Rogotchenko, Doctor of Arts with journalists and cultural attaches of foreign embassies in Ukraine took place in a warm festive atmosphere.

Alexey Rogotchenko and Oksana Mas who were the speakers, summed up the Ukrainian participation in the 54th Venice Biennale. Alex Rogotchenko said that the Venice Biennale in 2011 had attracted a record number of participants from 89 countries. "POST-VS-PROTO-RENESSANCE" Ukrainian project became the leader of People's Choice Award and the most discussed in the international media. The unique catalogue complied from reviews of the world media about the Ukrainian project. More than 100 publications and websites have expressed their admiration to the Ukrainian project, calling it a “second Renaissance of art world". Art object achieved the top nine of the best women's projects of Biennale according to the "ART INVESTOR" magazine (as of April 2011). The artist Oksana Mas, achieved the Top 100 artists in the world, whose works are estimated at a value for money according to an authoritative "THE ART NEWSPAPER" U.S. magazine (№ 6, June 2011).

Oksana Mas: "I am proud that Ukraine has taken the worthy place at the most prestigious world art exhibition. The offers to purchase pieces of the altar have already been received, but I decided not to sell them and to complete the project. This will require 6-8 years. The completed work will present an ambitious art-object of the 302 panels, the overall size is 92x134 meters. We received a proposal to exhibit the altar in the great museums of the world. Negotiations have been proceeding up to now. But I really want this work, which I gave a lot of physical and mental strength, would be seen not only by the Biennale visitors and residents of different countries, but also by my fellow countrymen. I think that the project will be of interest not only to the experts of contemporary art, but also to anyone who wants to understand and become familiar with it. "

The culmination of the press conference was the awarding a diplomas of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine to patrons, who supported the Ukrainian project. Oksana Mas as the sign of gratitude gave patrons art installation. Certificates and gifts were given to: 1 +1 TV channel, PJSC "Ukrsotsbank", LLC Commercial and Industrial Company "Shabo" and "Zarina" jewelry house.
